I am pretty much ready to make a beta release once and for all. I did just get a new issue reported:

#591806: First char stripped when using numbers

I'll see if more information is forthcoming about that so that if there's a bug to address it can be resolved before a release.

If anyone else has a moment please check out the patch at #591806: First char stripped when using numbers and test it out. The bug in that issue would occur when the replacement string is a number.
