» Nearly ready for new Advforum alphas - Need testers
Here are the remaining issues I plan to resolve before doing a new set of alphas:
D6:
Look for CSS files in the theme directory first. Since you can override .tpl files by copying them to the theme it makes sense to have the same for CSS.
Both:
Finish iconizing the naked / blue lagoon styles
Finish #291084: Collapsible forum containers
Incorporate the hidden settings into the settings page
Possible:
If I have enough time, I'd like to get the Coulee Green style committed but it depends on the timing of the rest.
I'm hoping to have this done in the next few days. So if anyone would be willing to give the dev snapshots a good test, I'd appreciate it. I'm hoping to shake out any bugs before releasing an alpha so I don't have to deal with endless duplicate issues thru the next cycle like I did with that annoying "last topic" fiasco.
I'm especially interested in testing of large sites. I have a good amount of data on my dev site but it's all just lorem ipsum generated stuff. If someone has a dev version of a large site, that would be an awesome place to really get a good look at it.
at first i want to thank you for your great work and all the time you spend to this great module. At the end of the year i plan to start a drupal site and because of your module i think a can replace the myBB Software with the drupal forum.
It is nice to see how the forum grows in the last two weeks and i will test it, sadly i have no big site to test because i can't migrate my myBB forum. so i have to test with my beta site. When you finished with your work i will test it.
A few thinks i've seen but i thought, first let finished his job than i can see which things are buggy or something like that.
So if you say i have done my step now test it, i will :).
Well, I'm not done with my bit. But it's just the collapsable containers and icon handling left to do. So I want to get people testing the rest while I finish that up and make sure it's solid. Already had one person find a major problem so this test period is good. :)
Good luck Michelle, fingers crossed...
I am waiting for this alpha... 1) so that i can finally make sure my style will be always compatible :P :P
2) my huge website as you would like to call it is to be launched soon... Kuwait-MD.. a med students website...u know students are faster than devel @ creating dummy posts :P

michelleAfter spending waaay too much time on AF this weekend, here's what I've got left before rolling new alphas:
#314108: Erroneous feedback when moving a topic to another forum
#313693: Speed optimisation for advanced_forum_unread_comments_in_forum
#314205: Fix style glitches
Documenting:
Finish docs with latest changes
Write upgrade docs for release notes
