The podcasting there has nothing to do with Icecast, it's using various modules like upload to attach audio files and views to generate the podcast.

Closing this because I'm not sure how podcasting could relate to this module.

Well it could be related, because you might want to create podcasts from an Icecast stream, but for that you would use Station module.
