IamPter commentedBut I a block mod would only be part of the larger solution.
Check out http://www.apockotos.com/movies
Now i did this all by hand and it is a pain. Plus this doesn't really fit the request of trying to accomplish
http://www.apockotos.com/wishlist which was the original request.

Prometheus6 commentedI know.
Wish lists can be retrieved and displayed but, if I start writing free software on demand I will have no life left. That's why I didn't say I CAN'T.
Now I can tell you that even though the search is limited the amazon node types are not. If you get your ASINs lined up you can go to
http://www.example.com/index.php?node/add/amazon-node or
http://www.example.com/node/add/amazon-node (clean URLs)
and enter them one at a time. They are full nodes you can use categories etc with. Your cron runs will update their prices just like books. That would be a big improvement over manual maintenance.
I fix bugs, I help on installs to the limits of my abilities (I'm not a sysadmin by any stretch). My intent is to make sure the software does exactlty what I promised it would inthe project description. I can also be bribed. But I don't write free software on demand and that's pretty much the whole story.

IamPter commentedIf I was employed. Or better yet able to work since I was injured in a car accident months ago. I would happily bribe you!
