I'm trying to figure out what is going on here, in that the display of certain items on my site is now all garbled up. It sure looks as though the Input Filter has gotten corrupted somehow, as it is affecting the display of my FAQ listing here:
http://www.design-comp.com/faq
Also for all stored SIGS, but I have turned those off for the time being. Going through manually and making sure all those are stored in the Full HTML filter, which - so far anyway - seems to be working fine. Other content types that were using the same Input Filter are also having trouble. Even worse, if I go in and edit something, say the Webform contact page I created here:
http://www.design-comp.com/contact
All of the data added to those form fields is showing up as corrupted!

Tried resetting the options for the included 'Filtered HTML,' but no joy. Anyone with any ideas on this?

Have no idea if this is connected to the corruption in Drupal core caused by the Views module I mentioned here:
http://drupal.org/node/298679
Does make me wonder though! Need help ASAP!

I had created an additional Input filter, almost identical to the core's Filtered HTML that included the Only local images are allowed. tag so people could easily include images stored within IMCE using the BUEditor I had installed. After I decided that filter was not necessary because I had tightened down the permission settings, etc., and I deleted it is when this problem began. Just tried creating that filter I had made before again, using the exact same name. No joy. So, still stumped as to cause or what to do to fix other than yet another rebuild of site! (Which I'm really not willing to do again unless absolutely necessary!)

Still looking for help on this, as I've checked the Troubleshooting FAQ on Pages not displaying correctly:
http://drupal.org/node/201873
No help there.

Tried downloading a fresh database backup from my site, setting up a fresh install of Drupal 5.10 on my development platform here (XAMPP), copy over saved Files folder, etc. That came through just great, but the crazy display is still there! As with the content on my live site, when I open things up everything looks okay. (Example, Vocabulary list for the FAQ section.)

Theme, BTW is the default Garland shipped with Drupal core.

Been tearing my hair out over this for more than a week now. Tried doing SEVERAL rebuilds of the site in Drupal 5.10, but every time I start putting in some of the add-on modules (Views, Organic Groups, etc.) something screws up the version number of Drupal itself, which then upsets the Update status module. At least, in the install on my live site, Update Status knows that really is Drupal 5.10 even if it shows as 5.9 in the Status report.

Been desperate enough to consider going with Drupal 6, but not enough of the contributed modules I need to use are ready for use on a live site. (Getting there!)

Had what I thought was a bright idea, and thought I could 'sneaking' around this issue - whatever it is - that is causing the version number failures in a fresh install on my system here. That is, I start by doing an install of Drupal 5.9. Get all my modules I plan to use - including that updated Update Status - installed and setup right. THEN do the upgrade to Drupal 5.10. Crossing fingers that goes right, then I could just copy my content over to that install, and wipe out the install on my hosted space and restore that one.

About the only idea I got left to try unless someone has a better one!
