flvmediaplayer only depends on the swfobject api, not the version, you can use either version. I'd gladly accept a patch to 6 (hint hint)

there is problem with playlist loading
it takes url like /xspf/node/1, but playlist for node is generated in /node/1/xspf

There is a fix for this already in CVS, I have a few more details to clean up and I will make a new release
