Whenever I click on Hi-Def the stream cuts off very quickly. After a few times of re-clicking it persists.
Users will not stay with a video doing that. I tried it on several Hi-Def videos and it was the same problem.
I used demo site and homesite, same thing happened. I tried ctrl+F5 several times to clear cache same thing happens.

I'm not sure about Version*above, because I've not installed on my site. I was using demo from IE7 browser

I am guessing that the DSL is probably the bottleneck. Regardless, I probably should put some buffer in the player so that it does not do this (ie... buffers up a few seconds before playing). I am going to have to postpone this for the next version, but trust me it is coming.

As for high speed connections, I have not had much trouble viewing the high def videos, but I agree that it should work for everyone.

I will keep you informed.

Travis.

My DSL is very competent and usually runs very high rates, Irvine,CA.

The buffering is probably the issue, because it wasn't buffering when the video stopped. It just remained off until I clickon again.

Looking forward to this mod, looks great with hi-def and standard choice tabs.

Thanks

I will probably try to get a fix for this this weekend if not early next week. Don't worry, it is very high on my list since High Def on this player needs to be solid.

Although, I will probably need to show the "busy" signal while it is buffering. If the player catches up on the buffer, then it will probably need to pause the video and show the "busy" signal again.

This at least beats stopping completely and will work how most other players work.

Thanks for the suggestion.
