JQuery Plugin Help - Please

trijump3540 - August 29, 2008 - 03:11

Okay - I've been trying to get the jquery plugin module to work on my local drupal install - Drupal 6 on XAMPP. I downloaded the module and unpacked it, and put it in /sites/all/modules. Then I went into the modules area and it shows up as a module so I enable it. At this point i think all is going well. So now I want to try and add Eye Candy so I can use CurvyCorners. I downloaded CurvyCorners unpacked that and placed that in the /sites/all/modules/jquery_plugin directory. Then I started to read the Readme from http://cvs.drupal.org/viewvc.py/drupal/contributions/modules/jq_eyecandy/README.txt?view=markup and it says to navigate to admin/settings/jq_eyecandy and it should tell me whether or not the plugin was installed properly. This is where I lose it. I see nothing about Eye Candy anywhere in the administrator panel in Drupal. I've tried redownloading jquery_plugin several times, curvycorners several times, I've search online for an answer, I've searched through the forums here and I can't seem to find anything about it. I've now been messing with this for pushing 4 hours and finally decided to break down and ask for help. So I ask - anybody - what are the basics to get jquery_plugin and subsequent plugins working? Any help would be a blessing - thanks!

Hi, it could be something

Hi,
it could be something obvious that you overlooked.
Have a look at that thread "Jquery in Themes (particularily rounded corners) problems".

And God, or Dries and another bunch of geeks, created Drupal. Whoever it was from, it was good.
