I removed/uninstalled modules like Backup and Migrate as well as Contemplate, but the links on the Admin Menu are still there. I'm not sure if it's a caching issue, but I emptied cache through Devel module and it didn't do anything to the "remnants" - they are still there. How to get rid of them?

I am using 6.x - the problem exists here as well. I can confirm its not a cacheing issue - problem occurs even after clearing cache.

Sorry, I never was able to replicate this issue - and given the large amount of users of Administration menu, it seems that the majority cannot either.

Updating to the latest version might solve this issue (although I'm not aware of any changes with regard to this issue), dunno.

I get this a lot as well. I can clear them out by deleting the files, then running update.php.
