Color.module supports image filling (solids and simple horizontal gradients) + slicing.

This module works by taking a transparent image, and filling the BG. So usually the original file image you're using with be transparent in way.

Not sure I understand this explanation very well...

Hi there,

thanks for this excellent module, by the way. I have a question about what you're saying here:

Color.module supports image filling (solids and simple horizontal gradients) + slicing.
This module works by taking a transparent image, and filling the BG. So usually the original file image you're using with be transparent in way.

Do you mean that the module works by loading a PNG image with a transparent background (alpha channel) and then altering the actual visible colour of that image by filling the background (not the alpha channel) with a colour? Also, can you fill the image background with a gradient as well?

Then also, in the final sentence do you mean to say that the original image file you're using would have a transparency (alpha) channel in some way?

Sorry to be pedantic but I'd really like to use this module in a theme I'm developing but I'm struggling to understand how it works.

Once I get it I might try to make a screencast to explain it to designers like me who need help understanding the more complex end of PHP.

Cheers!
