I have been looking for a Paid Subcription Module for D6 the nearest I was able to find is Role Subscription e-Commerce Paid Subscription Management. This works for D5.10, are the any modules out for d6.X ?

Or any other modules that will do something similar.

Module need to be able to take payment through a gateway, then assign a role for access to content. This is the basic I would like it to do.

Does anyone know of a module that will do this ?

a collegue of mine is working on a paid subscription module for a client at the moment. It will be for drupal 6.x and while it's designed to work with SMS mobile phone payments, it probably could be adapted for other gateways. If that's of interest, drop me an email.

Apart from that, ecommerce has a road map for Drupal 6.x in place, but, it looks like it will be a while before that is ready.
