I Installed drupal through Fantastico deluxe to my webspace. But I'd choice one of my subdomain such as cms.domain.com for installation. I am not sure that but I am thinking it will make headache for me in the future. I need some advice. I want to manage my maindomain (www.domain.com) including its subdomains. Is there any difference for using drupal if my installation on the maindomain or subdomain?

Drupal will like both, no problem.

But the users will see the path to the drupal domain, so why clutter it? So the best choice in my opinion is always to use the main domain without any fuss.

If you are using the site for additional means it (e.g. testing, devolpment ..) it is still possible to use (nearly ;-) unlimited subdomains, even more comfortable by the "multisite"-feature.

BTW: You maybe can install a later drupal version by doing it directly without fantastico, that should not be difficult either.

I'd setup a lot of modules, settings,...etc during last 2 days. My god. :)
Hmm, better I will setup on main domain again without fantastico.
