Releases for Painted Wall

Same as 2.0 but with new feature added : You can now specify the page width within the theme settings page for Painted.
empty by default, adding a page width (in px) will override the default one.

BETA 3 will be the last BETA before stable release. This BETA fixes most of the remaining bugs :

As a sidenote, I consider IE6 stable enough, and will not continue to commit code to extend support for IE6.

Painted Wall is now on version 2. The intention here is to make Painted Wall more flexible, more beautiful and more robust. UI improvements have been added.

This BETA 1 has been tested on Firefox 2-3 - IE 6-7-8 - Opera 9. There might be some minor bugs remaining, but the overall is stable enough.

Version 2 is a massive rework of the theme. The layout technique have been completely rewritten to make it possible for anyone to alter the dimensions easily. At first, flexibility of the general width of the site was the principal objective, but later on, some experimenting with new CSS techniques made me aim at a total control over the dimensions of the layout. It is now possible to change the dimensions of all sidebar or content, easily change the width of the site, switch from fluid to fixed width, or even alter the border of the content by just quickly editing the layout.css file. Painted is also way lighter than before, using less images, and less memory for the color module.

It is now also possible to remove the painted header background through the configuration page of the theme (bottom). An alternative design for the primary links have been added.

First official release of Painted Wall 1.0, still on BETA for Drupal 6 though...

This theme is now stable enough to be used on production sites, however, it might still have some small issues that I didn't heard about, so do not hesitate to go through a testing phase with all the modules you are using on your site.

I consider it stable, as I even use it as a replacement of Garland for administration, as I prefer the user interface on Painted Wall.

note : Drupal 6 is still in a BETA phase even though I could say it is as stable as version 5, but I would like to test more this theme on views 2 / panels 2 to be sure it is ok for Drupal 6
