I recently downloaded the Drupal ajaxIM module version 5.x-2.x-dev. It sets up perfectly but when you go to send a message you get "error while submitting message" and upon checking the mysql database no information was transmitted to the database when inputting a message. I would like to use this script on my website so if anyone could fix this issue I would be willing to pay for a solution. I know this problem did not arise from anything I have done as there is a topic in the support requests of the project page with the same issue. I do not think the module maintainer is actively supporting the module and I need a solution in a more timely manor. Thank you for any help you can offer.

I have a client who is using the 5.x-1.x-dev version with great success on a Unix server with MySQL version 4.1.20
and PHP version 4.3.11. Don;'t know if this applies to you or not, but it might be worth a try.

I am using mysql 5.0.45 and php 5.2.6 and Unix Server 2.2.9. Do you think I should downgrade to 5.x-1.x-dev?

I just tried the ajaxim module 5.x-1.x-dev on my server and it works, and I am running version 5 of both php and mysql. The buddylist I am using is version 5.x-1.0. It might be an obsolete version, but I can verify that it does indeed work.

While I did not test 5.x-1.x-dev I would like to use 5.x-2.x-dev because that has newer features and bug fixes as well as curtailing the monstrous load ajax-server module puts on the server. Version 5.x-2.x-dev is indeed broken and that is what I would like to have fixed if possible.
