In setting up a test or staging server the programs that were already installed worked fine. How ever when I tried to add a new module I ran in to this problem. The module is activated fine, but when I try to set the user access the box's display the new settings. but don't save them upon submit.

The only thing I doing different is using the cpanel back up MySQL dump.
I used to use the phpmysql export and then import to transfer from the production to development. I changed because the data was increasing in size and would exceed the limits.

My thoughts are that it’s a perms or owner problem. The production site is the-villages-on-line.com.

I tried using the export import on the “groups” database and the problem was not corrected.

If any body has a thought on how to trouble shoot this, it will be very apreacated
