New Profile Fields wipe out Signature details

We have 5.7 running. I recently added a few fields to the PROFILE:
profile_medist, profile_homeloc, profile_bdate all of these are in a new category: Member Information
We have the Signature module installed.
Whenever any of our members put in data into one of the new fields and submit, their user data information is wiped out. I can reproduce this at will. While I was testing this, I uinstalled the
Signature Module and I could not reproduce the same problem. As soon as Signature Module
was enabled again, updating any one of those new fields would wipe out the User's signature area.
I am trying to isolate this problem. This happens with regular members as well as those with Moderator or Admin roles

I have been still trying to hunt this one down.
On 3 of my 5.7 systems, I have PROFILE enbabled so that I can add new fields. The new fields
work fine, I can add them, display them ,etc
However IF prior to updating one of the new fields, there is information in the COMMENT signature box and I add data to one of the new fields and SUBMIT, all the data in the COMMENT signature box is wiped out.
Any clues?
