If there are multiple users using the same browser installation in the same account on the same computer would this module falsely report it?
Could this module be defeated by the user creating multiple accounts on the operating system of the same computer, or different browsers in the same account?

Yes it can be defeated that way. They must know in advance that you are using this module so they can consider using those methods.
