I have a completely virgin 6.4 installation of Drupal, and I tried to installed the Amazon module. I installed each submodule separately. All installed successfully expect Amazon Field.

I received the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function content_notify() in /home/teameigw/public_html/testdrupal64/sites/all/modules/amazon/asin/asin.install on line 11

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I cannot proceed with my site until I resolve this, as the excellent Amazon module is crucial to my site's design.

HI David,

The same thing happened to me. You have to install the CCK module to make the ASIN field work in Amazon.

Thanks so much Connie. In retrospect, it seems so obvious! Ugh...

I actually went back to 5.10. I'm going to wait for modules to mature a bit more and I don't see any pressing need right now to go through with the upgrade to 6.4.
