Issue Summary
Hey Guys,
I've been successful in moving over most my information from vBulletin (lost signatures but not worried)... However, when looking through the forum you can see the pseudo-code that vBulletin places for post styling, such as:
[QUOTE]blah blah[/QUOTE]
[IMG]http://www.domain.com/image.jpg[/IMG]
[I]italic text[/I]
and more...
What methods did you guys use to get around this? Ignore it? Write a script to convert code? something easier?.... Any help would be much appreciated.

Found the BBCode modules... None seem perfect in fixing up all the errors but will have to do for now... Anyone have any luck with one of the modules taking care of all the BBCode generated by vBulletin?

The BBCode module is all there is, unfortunately. You could try raising a feature request on it, call it 'Compatibility with vBulletin BBCode', then explain exactly how vBulletin's BBCode implementation with Drupal's is different.
The differences do suck. I can't remember how I dealt with this on our own forum, think we just ignored the differences.
