My search bar is not visible to normal users. It is only visible to me while I am logged in.

Any ideas?

you can use the theme to insert the search

if using the block you can configure it with permission

Ray, if you've enabled a search form block, make sure the Role specific visibility settings when you configure that block include the roles you want the block visible for. Also, make sure the search content permission for the Search module is selected for those roles.

I have made the role specific visibility settings include the roles I want the block visible for. The search content permission for the search module was also selected.

Yet the search bar is still not visible upon logout.

???

Probably you must have already checked this - but in your admin/user/access
search content should be allowed to anonymous.
