before i start using your module, i was wondering if you pan on porting it?

If there is enough demand for a port, yes, I will port it. (Enough demand == at least 2 people).

Ok, so much for "next month" ;) but I'll try to get to this ASAP. Feel free to bump this thread if I'm taking a while, because I might have forgotten about it.

Sorry about that, finally got around to this. The attached patch should successfully port the module to Drupal 6; please let me know how it works.
