The attached patch allows advertising to be inserted into content by enabling the Google Admanager filter on specific input formats, using the syntax:
[google_ad:ad_slot] where ad_slot is the identifier of the ad to insert.
Please note that in order for this to be useful in conjunction with the HTML filter (assuming it is being used to filter out tags), Google Admanager filter must have a "heavier" weight than HTML filter.

Thanks for the patch. I committed it but didn't test it. Just use the -dev release for testing purposes.
If there is still some problem, you may report in this issue.
