Some basic examples with some documentation would rock.

Description

Been trying all morning to make the Cycle plugin work, and getting no headway at all. Obviously, I'm doing something wrong but can't figure out what it is. Is there any chance that at some point a few examples could be posted, or better yet, a little bit of documentation on using this module?

I guess you already tried http://plugins.jquery.com/project/cycle and http://malsup.com/jquery/cycle/ and didn't find any help there? You should also take a look at http://drupal.org/project/slideshow_creator which uses jQuery cycle plugin.

I am repackaging the jQuery plugins as-is from plugins.jquery.com so I don't feel any responsibility myself to document them. But, I think it would be great if someone wants to put up some documentation on drupal.org or contribute it here to go in CVS.

mfb, I think this is a great module. I think the popularity would increase greatly if 1 little example was added to the module's page. For example, to get the cycle plugin to work in a block or page, I added . I change the path to the images . etc...

That would be great if someone can provide it (I have not used cycle enough to help here). I think the proper place for it to go would be the handbook pages, e.g. http://drupal.org/node/116539 is the jQuery examples section, and there could be a link from this module's page.

I agree with naptown would definitely be helpful if at least one working example could be included.. i am also having a hard time getting cycle to work, but in drupal5.
