anyone else tried it?

I sorta like it. it's very basic and subtle. although I notice png transparency doesn't work, which is a bummer...

On the up side..it's much faster than firefox (which has been getting slower and slower recently)...and there appears to be more screen space.

I suppose the first thing I think people here will do is check their own sites to see how they render....if you notice any other stuff like the PNG transparency issue..post up here.

I watch a ton of video on the Internet and with Chrome I can't really do that. Maybe the extra memory that is provided to each plugin is killing Flash? I'm not sure but for a first time browser it's not that bad. The only other concerns I have are privacy related but I guess I can go incognito and I'm good :)

I think the privacy thing is an issue, but, couldn't the same argument be made for all browsers?

Besides, being open source, I imagine the EFF and others will point out pretty quickly any dodgy data capture that might be going on soon enough.

I noticed a nice feature for developers earlier in chrome...which is the INSPECT ELEMENT option...which is like a scaled down version of firebug on firefox. It allows you to inspect the css and html for a page you're viewing.
