Hi, guys,

Can anyone tell me how I can put my Google AdSense ads (I have an account, with my 'AdSense for Content/Search' number), WITHOUT installing a new module? The site is http://www.botopia.net, based on artificial intelligence and robotics ...

Please just tell me where the settings are from the 'Admin' section on down. Please be very detailed ... I'm a relatively new Drupal user, so please explain it to me like I'm a n00b! LOL

Thanks, and please email me with the answer ... actually, the answer will show up in my Gmail (twentyfive8@gmail.com) when someone responds to this post. Duh at me! LOL

Thanks, peeps!

ALSO POSTED IN THIS FORUM: How the Hell do I get old and new blog posts -- old and new content in general -- to show up on the front page?

I don't know what the settings are, from 'Admin' on down!

(SETTINGS, please! I've tried everything!)

Thanks again,
your beloved n00b LOL

I'm not going to be as detailed as you want -- partially because you didn't give us the version of Drupal you're using, -- but here's what you need:

Adsense -- put your Adsense code in a block. Look around http://www.botopia.net/admin for blocks, add a block, plug your content in, enable it, stick it in the region of your theme you want it.

Front page: when you create content, look for the Promoted to front page option under Publishing options, just above the Save button on the form.

Using 6.4....can't get ads to show in new blocks..Amazon shows in preview but not in block. Google doesn't show at all.

thanks,
Michael

Also make sure the 'Full HTML' input format is selected for your block.
