Advanced display settings (and other) vanish when changing content type name

Description

I have Drupal 6.4 with CCK 2 dev from today.

When I added a lot of fields, I decided I wanted to alter the name of my type. I did so - it was a content_profile node, FYI. I then went to configure the display settings. However, when I did this, the interface took me to the main content page (/admin/content/types).

Changing the name of the type had broken the links somehow. They appeared ok, but a lot of the links, when clicked, landed on the same content overview page.

When I changed the name of the type back to what it was previously, the functionality returned to normal. I am using content_profile latest dev and auto_nodetitle 1.x. As such, I cannot necessarily determine if this issue is related to cck or content_profile.

I cannot reproduce this with current 6.x-2.x (no content_profile installed)
Let's push this over there, see if it rings a bell ?

hm I just tried it on my installation with the latest CCK and content profile installed and it worked fine. Can you reproduce the problem? If so please try another content type which is no content profile too.

I'll try it out; please note that we have experienced problems with underscores in content type names in content_profile. This type was called member_profile - I changed it to profile_member, which is what triggered the issue.

Just a heads up.

Oh wow. I can't reproduce this using the same steps as I used before...

I have seen a couple of resets of the module settings during normal use however I cannot replicate this either :(
