Ok, installed it, was going through all the settings, I think I put in the wrong password for the database, because afterwords the site kept saying it was in "Offline mode" and giving me some eror about settings.php file.
Had to remove the module and site works fine now, did an "uninstall" and reset the phplist menu item, tried to put it back in, updated to the newest version and can't get to the settings now.
---Ok while writing this, I removed completely, did some refreshes and cache empties and now I have it installed again.
I have gone through the settings and things seem to be functioning so far, but I am not getting the "My Newsletters" tab currently.
Still looking, about to "SYNC" fingers crossed...

Ok, nothing broke upon "syncing"
I still don't have a Newsletters Tab nor do I have a Block showing up.
I enabled the Block and adjusted some settings, but it is not currently showing up.
I checked in my phpList attributes and I do see 3 new attributes that came from Drupal, so I know that part is partially working. But nothing seemed to sync BACK to Drupal...

Hi Jeremy,
Have you granted the right permissions to allow phpList to be visible ? I know this was an issue that tripped some people up with the D5 module. If it's not that, I'll have to dig deeper as it could be to do with the port to D6.
Regards,
- Paul

All the permissions look to be correct.
Access is given to : authenticated user, Media User and Site Admins
administer phpList is given to : Site Admins

Just noticed this little phrase "But nothing seemed to sync BACK to Drupal..." - the synchronisation is a one-way process only, from Drupal TO phpList. What were you expecting to see in Drupal that isn't there?

I have just checked on my Drupal 6 and all works fine IF the permissions for the roles are correctly defined. Both anyonymous and authenticated users should have "phplist module - access lists" ticked in the Roles page.
Once this happens, the anonymous signup block appears (if you're not logged in of course!) as the "My Newsletters" tab appears under the "Edit" tab of "My Account".
Hope that helps.

The synchronizing back I was referring to was just having something from phpList show up in Drupal. Like the names of the lists available to check box and such.
After some other updates on the site, refreshes and cache dumps, I am now getting the "My Newsletters" tab to show up. I am also getting the newsletters to show up upon new registration.
The only thing I am not getting so far is the phpList Block.
I am going to mess around with some settings right now and see if it's user error on my end.
I'll let you know what happens and my thoughts on it.
Thanks
jeremy

Ok looks like I have the Block showing up for users not logged in.
But for those that ARE logged in, but haven't yet signed up for a mailing list.
I just created a new user, DID NOT sign up for a mailing list upon creation. Then, went into My Account and Edit and My Newsletters, clicked on "Subscribe" next to a newsletter and was re-directed to a page that said "Page not found" with this as the address

Hi Jeremy,
I have done some reworking of the code and you should find this problem fixed. Please could you download the latest D6-DEV version (not sure what time the release will get updated, but wait until the "last updated" date on it is at least 17 Sept) and then test?

- Paul

Thanks a lot Paul, I would download it as soon as it is ready.
Also, I plan to open a feature request issue and list a bunch of things I would like to see happen with this module. :) There are a few things that I think would be easy to include and a few that might prove difficult! hhehe

Ok looks I can Subscribe and Unsubscribe users! woo hoo!
So no errors at the moment. I will open a feature request issue now and talk about what I would like to see happen with this module.

Automatically closed -- issue fixed for two weeks with no activity.

Hi,
I am also having the same problem. I am using phplist 6.x-1.x-dev version (Last updated: February 3, 2009). On My Newsletters, clicked on "Subscribe" next to a newsletter and was re-directed to a page that said "Page not found" with this as the address.
http://www.website.com/user/1/edit/phplist/subscribe/3Please help me out to fix this.

#12 is a cross-post of #375712: Issue on Manage my subscriptions. Closing issue.

Hello everyone,
I'm having a hard time making the link "http://localhost/***/user/1/edit/phplist" work properly. I get a "Page not found" instead of being able to manage the subscription.
I'm using Drupal 6.10 and the last dev package of phplist.
Both anonymous and authenticated users have all the rights concerning the module but still isn't enough. Seems like I've missed a step but can't find out which one.
Thanks in advance for your help!
