Are there any viable options for using recurring dates with Drupal 6?

I used repeat events with Drupal 5 and it worked fine, but the future for repeat events appears to be in doubt.

I've tried Date with the repeat API but the calendar view doesn't display the day correctly in some cases.

This is really hindering me from going live with several sites.

Do we have anything else available?

It looks like there are no viable options at the moment.

Sadly I will have to begin looking at a new cms that can handle repeating dates.

I agree, repeating events is a key for my upgrading my sites to drupal 6... a major hinderance and annoyance!
