how does it work with download_count?

Hi,

i want to use the module "download_count" with filefield. As on the module page of the "Filefield" module written, download_count is supported by the filefield module..
but i can't get it to work as i want. the download_count is not shown on the node with a file attatched by filefield! but the downloads are beeing counted (i can see that if i visit the download_count menu in my drupal installation)

i allready asked the maintainer of the download_count module, but no solution was found..
can anyone help me please? thanks!!!
