Hi Im new to drupal and Im having problems in editing front page, I change the path for example to node/12 and whenever i create content example story and try to promote it to front page, I cant see it there? any help will much appreciated. thanks

the front page module and the default front page in drupal are two different animals. This question would be better served in the forums.
