Hi,

I have one news module. /?q=news displays first 5 news. Now i want to change the way news are displayed. By default it is shown the way all the other nodes on front page. I want to display news like

News here goes the news abstract
Image which can be 4-5 line .News image will
be bordered and will look like separate from
text going here. This text also will be in separate box.

is there any way to do something like this (http://news.google.com/) . both image and text will be in bordered box.

Yes, there is. You will need to learn how to use CCK and the View modules. Together (and by tweaking some of the CSS) they will allow you to style your display the way you want.

Upload to your site the following modules:

--Content construction kit

--Views

You will need to spend some time learning how to use these if you are not already familiar with them. There are scores of tutorials on this site as well that will guide you. Together, they allow you to control the display of content that you can create and customize.
