Create a page, and record

Create a page, and record the URL (node/3, for example).

Go to site configuration >> site information >> default front page. Insert node/3 in the field. That will be your new home page.

Publish on Front Page

matkeane - September 5, 2008 - 11:40

Hi,

Another, possibly more flexible solution, is to create a new page and, in the publication options near the bottom of the node form, check the 'publish on front page' option. Once you have a page with this option selected, Drupal will replace the default welcome page. The difference to the method suggested above is that, if you leave the front page configured as 'node', you can publish multiple pages to the front page, like a blog or news site. As usual with Drupal, there is more than one way to skin a cat.

thank you
