I installed as instructed and created a "contributor" role which could make new revisions but not publish. Every time I made a change it went live (not given to admin to approve first), the CCK field values were lost, I didn't get an email, and no revision was made. Have I missed something or does this version not work at all?
I installed and enabled the module, tweaked the settings, then enabled it for "page" content type. I then setup the privileges for my contributor role to be able to modify all cck fields, but not administer node. Can anything else affect this? Does anyone else have this problem?

toemaz commentedBefore you installed this module, were you able to create revisions for your CCK node? If you don't know, disable this module first and check it out. If you are not able to submit a node as a new revision, go to the drupal handbook.

auberdjinn commentedI thought this was a bug at first (the revisions going live, not the CCK problem), but I realised you need to check both the "create new revision" and "revision in moderation" boxes for the content type to stop the changes being published without moderation. Makes sense when you think about it but it's not obvious straight away, so just thought I'd mention it here for anyone else puzzling over this problem.

Could you give us some more info? If it worked out, perhaps you could close this issue.

willeaton commentedIn the end I went for the more complicated option of workflow, so I couldnt tell you.
Sorry
