CSS and PHP Scripts undo automatically!

Hello fellow Drupaloids!

Please help me out I am loosing my mind ° ) We have noticed that every 24 hours certain changes that we have made in our CSS file or within certain php scrips revert to a previous version. In other words yesterday we changed edited the CSS file. Changes held for aprox 12 hours. I am check today and these changes have been undone. Been going on failry randomly and not all changes are undone for weeks.

We have the same problems with certain custom php form scripts. We changed them yesterday and today they have reverted.

I am stabbing on the dark here and would propose that its a cron that might be running that we have not set up. Some sort of permission setting for the file, or someone having a really good laugh!

Any one have any ideas where I would begin to look? My host says that its not thier end and said that the only thing that runs on our dedicated server is confixx_counterscript.
