Will you be releasing a 2.0 version for Drupal 5.x? If not, we can work on a port, if you are interested.

We dont have any immediate plans to back port the new functionality to 5.x, if you were to put some patches together though I would be more than a happy to review and apply and work through any issues.

How hard would it be to backport? Drupal 6 has a little ways to go before its ready for prime time still in my opinion.

There were quite a few additions in functionality. We have rewritten the RDF processing, added GUID to taxonomy terms and calais suggestions, also incorporated entity relevancy and geo disambiguation data. I have also done some extensive refactoring to make it easier to maintain.

I would be more than happy to answer any questions, give pointers, etc. However, all of our sites have been using D6 for a few months now so I can't devote much time to D5 development that is why it has not happened.

One feature from 2 that I'd find really useful is: one time auto, then all subsequent manual association setting

Agreed with chu and bflora. Drupal 5 is what's used on production sites, and it'll be around for a long time. I wouldn't build a production site in Drupal 6 yet. I'm imploring you to reconsider keeping Drupal 5 on the development path.

D6 4eva. ;) Working on a D7 port already so D5 wont get any fixes unless they are security related.
