Just wondering if there are any plans for an official version any time soon?

Dev is stable. You can use it safely.
Please report, if you identified a bug with the module. It'll be fixed.

I can confirm that the dev version of 2009-Feb-10 works fine. Seems stable to me. Tested on Internet Explorer 7, Firefox 3, Drupal 6.14. This is a great module :)

+1 for creating an official 1.0 version. Because most people think that a dev module isn't ready for production sites. By creating an official 1.0 version it tells users that the module as been tested by the community (3,000+ people are currently using this module http://drupal.org/project/usage/257166), is stable, and no critical issues are still opened, and the module is ready for production sites.
