I cannot use this module to play files uploaded by filefield in D6. It seems the path is wrong. Anyone got the same problem?

That's because it doesn't support such activity atm. There are plans to integrate this with filefield in the future...

How is this issue looking now? Is there any progress to integrate emfield with filefield?

It will happen, but not in emfield. Keep an eye on the Media Module for progress.
