There are currently issues with the latest Services update. If you updated your Services module, then you will need to roll back to either Version 0.91 for (Drupal 5) or Version 0.9 for (Drupal 6).

I am currently working on a work around for this issue, but until that day comes, you can just use those versions and it should work just fine.
