I have currently made up an xml site map manually as I am running drupal 6 and was not confident to use the development version of XML sitemap on my live site. (i used it on a test site and it worked fine, but I am following best practice guidelines which suggest not to use dev versions on production sites).

I used the url alias path in my site map instead of the actual url ( eg node/41). I realise that each time I add content or change a url alias (I am using path auto as well), then I will also have to update the sitemap and resubmit it.

I am wondering how others using drupal6, with large sites with lots of content added frequently, have got around this issue - if not using a dynamically generated sitemap?

TIA if you can assist,
Renaee.
