Hi there,

As many of us will discover, gmail occassionally may disable our account believing drupal messages are spam. This is very annoying as this usually goes unnoticed for a week or so, until members start complaining that they aren't receiving any messages.

Is there a way to include support for MULTIPLE SMTP accounts, in that if drupal finds that one SMTP account cannot send mail, it will switch to the secondary SMTP account?

That would be a very useful feature!

Thanks!

Very interesting suggestion. I suppose you meant a fallback account, is that right?

Anyways, I don't think a new feature should be developed on 5.x version...

I would agree that this would be very useful. The current setting for backup server assumes that it would be with the same account. It would be great to be able to have a whole new set of account info fields for the backup.

This appears to be a useful feature for the latest stable version of Drupal i.e. 7

Can someone re-assign it to 7.X from 5.X
