Hi,

I am developing FriendList. The module allows people to define their friends and who they are fan of.
Basically, I have 10 possible emails that the user needs to be set as "to be sent" (and based on a template) according to what happens. For example, if User 1 wants to become friends with User 2, User2 needs to receive an email based on a template decided by the user.

Is Rules the module to achieve this?

If so, I will read the documentation. However, can you explain to me what I need to do *without* the details, so that I can focus on the parts of the documentation that are relevant to me and then, when I get back here, actually understand fully your explanation?

There isn't that much docs, so just go over the actions/ conditions part to see how they work.
