OK, I have followed the instructions here...
http://drupal.org/handbook/cvs
http://drupal.org/node/227524

I managed to get the module source and binaries into CVS, now I want to make a release.

When I follow the above instructions, and try to run the 'update', I get:
C:\src\drupal\imgupload> cvs update -dP -r DRUPAL-6--1
cvs update: `imgupload/imgupload.info' is no longer in the repository
cvs update: `imgupload/imgupload.install' is no longer in the repository
...

And all of my files are promptly deleted! I have to check out to get them back.

Now when I tag I get:

C:\src\drupal>cvs tag DRUPAL-6-1--0
** ERROR: invalid tag for this directory:
** contributions/modules/imgupload/imgupload

What's up with that? What am I missing?

Quicktime says I don't have the required codec (I am a Windows user). Any idea where I would get it?
