I installed a simplemail module but the functionality was not exactly what the client wants. Here’s what I need:
1) A simple mail sign up form the creates a basic Drupal user.
2) User should receive confirmation e-mail (which Drupal already does when a new user is signed up)
3) Once a user has signed up they should appear as a user when an administrator is logged in.
4) I need a new content type added called “news letter\press release“ that basically is the same as if you created a new page content type. When a new “news letter\press release“ page is created all users who have signed up using the simple mail sign up form mentioned above are to received an email with the content of the newly created “news letter\press release“ content page along with a lint to the site.
There may be a module that will create all or most of this functionality. I reviewed several but was not sure about the options that they had. I think the “Trigger” module may be configured as I describe above.
