I am just curious as to why my Private download method is flagged in the report.
Is there a problem I'm not aware of?

There are numerous issues with private download. Search DO on it. The first one of the top of my head is that you cannot compress CSS with private method.

It's just a warning and nothing is done about. It's there to highlight something that the admin might want to rethink. You are free to ignore it.
