I installed Civicspace 0.8.1.3 and all went well until I finished configuration and got this error:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /[domain stuff]/modules/textile/textilephp/Textile.php on line 2062

I'm a novice, no idea what this means or how to fix. Tried deleting the database, then recreating it and running the install program again but had no luck. All is well until the configuration is over. This is true even if I choose not to use the installation wizard to configure.

I posted this to a forum on the Civicspace site and it was suggested I post an issue here. I know there are many issues regarding textile and parse errors, but didn't find this one.

This is pretty old (4.5). I have not seen this, nor have I been able to reproduce it, so I assume this was something in your setup. Reopen if it's still an issue.
