Active forum topics and New forum topics

Hi All,

I have created my new site now and I have added the Active forum topics and New forum topics to the front page. I also have the forum enabled. Each forum has a specific classification, is it possible to lock a form so that users can't set the keywords? Basically classify each forum with a specific value and anything that is posted in there classed as the forum is set?

The reason for this is that I have a primary menu that links to each of these classes so if a user selects menu item "INFO" it will the show only the related Active forum topics and New forum topics on the front page instead of all the newest posts across the whole forum. General content can have that done.

Any ideas?
