As the title suggests, it would be a nice feature if the map didn't appear if the user doesn't enter any address or if they enter an address that can't be resolved by Google. As it stands, the user doesn't enter an address a grey empty GMap box is shown.

#3 says fixed in beta 3, but I have dled and installed beta 3 and still get the error "The address ..... in field_gmap_cevent[0] could not be validated as correct address! Look at Maps.Google.com to check your address."

Is there a way to disable address validation and just NOT display gmap when address doesn't geocode?
