yched commentedViews beta 4 is now several months old.
You need http://drupal.org/node/95897

pneill commentedUpgrading to RC7 also broke my views (views version 6.x-2.0-rc1) I'm getting broken and missing handler error messages in the views fields area. When I try to update the fields, I get a further error message that "This display has no path"

the fatman commentedI'm getting the same views cck integration warning at the status report and the same broken and missing handler errors but they are intermittent. The filefield cck fields are not showing up either. This has happened since I upgraded CCK to rc7.
I'm running D6.4 and all modules are up to date, the only cck module installed is filefield.

karens commentedYou need the latest -dev version of Views with CCK rc7, earlier versions will not work. Views made a major change in its API that has been incorporated into CCK rc7. The CCK project page notes this in bold type.
Filefield and imagefield are not working in D6 yet and are not production-ready, it says so right on their project pages. Views integration is not the only problem, they need a lot of work yet to work right.

the fatman commentedThankyou

war1237 commentedWhy is this release of the CCK indicated as "green" when it depends on a "red", production-unready update to the views module?
TheresaB-1 commentedI have followed the advice of downloading and installing the Dev Views module and now my site is blank.
yched commentedThat's because you have another module that has not been updated to the new Views API yet.
OG ? imagefield ? votingapi ?
BTW, as we speak, merlinofchaos is rolling Views RC2. Should be available soon.
