Editing Content
After you or someone else has added content [#176826] or custom content [#306797], you may want to edit that content. This tutorial provides basic editing guidance.
View the content that is to be edited in its full page rather than teaser version, which is generally possible by clicking on its title. You should now see two tabs: View, and Edit.
Certain kinds of content may be set up on a Drupal site so that only users with certain roles assigned are allowed to edit them. If you do not see an edit tab when looking at a piece of content, then you may not have the appropriate permission to edit that content. To proceed with this tutorial, login with an account with appropriate permissions to edit the content, or navigate to a piece of content for which your current account has editing permission.
- Click on Edit
- Make changes as appropriate to the data in the fields. Required fields (indicated with an asterisk *) cannot be left empty at the end of editing.
- Click Submit
