translation issues

I'm about to translate 2-x into german and found the following things:
The strings in the dropdown field 'Compression' on page ?q=admin/content/backup_migrate/profile/add (e.g.) cannot be translated. Please (for translation purposes) also change 'None' into 'No Compression' because there are several german translions for none which can't be handled if it's only 'None'.
There are also two possible 'None' entries in the table ?q=admin/content/backup_migrate/profile, one in the exclude column, on in the No data column. This 'None' should be changed into something like 'No table'.
If there is a new destination, profile, schedule etc. to be created the name of it is always 'Untitled ...'. This 'Untitled...' cannot be translated, yet.
On page ?q=admin/content/backup_migrate/schedule/add there is a dropdown field with seconds, minutes, ... All of these cannot be translated. The '-- None available' under settings profile cannot be translatede, too.
The message after running a backup ('Database backup file [...].sql.zip saved to destination [...]') is not translatable, too. It's the same with saving a profile ('Profile setting saved: [...]'). Same with creating a destination.
I would be pleased if you could go through your strings to get rid of untranslatable strings. These avoids to list them all here.

Could you give me a hint, where or how 'Add a new @s destination.' can be found in the user interface (URL?). If that might not be possible please let me know what @s stands for.

Thanks for all your efforts with the translation. You should be aware that the version 2 branch is still very much under active development and strings are subject to change ant any time (I'm finding lots of typos, and functionality is still somewhat in flux). I will try my best to post to this thread whenever I make a commit which changes strings.
I have addressed the issues you list above though with some notes:

I found a problem with the first one you mentioned in that the action links were being appended to the string instead of sent as a param, but I'm not sure what's wrong with the others you mention. All user messages go through a helper function which wraps them in t(). The helper function helps me to maintain both the 5 and 6 versions of the modules (they differ in how watchdog handles translation) and they allow the module to suppress all messages when the module is run non-interactively (via cron, for example). Is there something wrong with my helper function that the strings are not being translated?
That was supposed to be the tooltip (hover over the link to see) for the create destination links at admin/content/backup_migrate/destination/add, but it wasn't working in v6 because I had a bug. Should be working now.

sorry for the delay, I lost the issue a little out of sight.
Of course (?) there is no translation of gzip, e.g.. But 'No compression' is translatable now.
I can't help you with the helper function: I 'only' translate, but I'm not into programming. I can only say that with the latest version the problem is still there.
The tooltip of 'Add a new @s destination.' is working now, too.
Could you give me a hint, where the string '-- None Available --' can be found (just let mw know the URL, maybe there is also the translation problem with None as mentioned in the original post)
Also found two wrong source strings:
- 'The the location string of the destination.' (duplicate 'the')
- 'This will cannot be undone.' (If 'will' is omitted the string would be OK)
